Thats great news.  I am really pleased for you guys.  I am about 9 weeks out from takedown and I am also on about 6 BMs a day.  I went back to work last week, and this weekend spent over 5 hours doing gardening before going out to my girlfriends family for dinner.  I think your doc is right - time to start living!! :)

Cathy and Dillon  So happy to hear that he is doing so well.  Yup, he will feel so much better now, what a blessing. 

To all the members on here:   I love you all and you have helped me through the years I think I have been on here 2 years, gosh my mind does not retain some memories   that sucks.  But everyone here is and has gone through hell and back, and all their support and information sharing is truely a blessing .   I myself am doing so wonderfully well it is still hard to believe.

Get this my step son that by the way I never call him that. he is my son for 25 years now, came and saw me when I was 1 day out from surgery.  I cannot even tell you who came to see me when I was I the hospital due to the anisthesia and heavy meds.  But I guess I said something wrong to someone that got all distorted and added to, gossip, got back to him.  I have no idea what was said all I know is that he now has cut me out of his life, took me off of his Myspace, and facebook account, and will not talk to me or my daughter.  So with the stress of that and not knowing what is going on., its breaks my heart.  But have to let it be cause it has kept my bp up for 3 days now, not eating or sleeping.

I am only 2 months post op and I have to take care of my recovery, and this is hindering it.

So when you have surgery especaially a huge one like mine have someone tape your moutch shut ...cuz I still have no idea what happened...

Honestwoman: is your son 25 or 5? Because no mature 25 year old would take anything anyone says under the influence of anesthesia seriously unless they were looking for a reason to end the relationship. I'm sorry this happened to you but your son needs to grow up.

Cathy   First of all I want to thank you all for keeping me sane during all the illness...  My Son.... they will not answer the phone and my emails are now being returned as they must have got a different email add...how special.  So I called my x yesterday and he said I dont know anything,,,ya right!  He said just give Zachary time.  Well Zachary is due to get married on July 31 and my grandaughter is a year and a half now.  They came to town 2 weeks ago and I never got a call or anything and they did not come to see me.  So I found out after they left that they had been in town and I was the only one who did not know...thats when I started to kind of get a weird feeling that it was on purpose...well later that week I found out he was mad at me.  So now I am just kind of lost and just hopeing tht he will come around....

But thank you cathy for your thoughts..

Oh that is wonderful new that its going so well...I am the same way...doing GREAT!! I have my one month f/u on the 13th, but I know it will go well.  Seems the only issues I have ,  which are very minor,  is very stinky BM's. ((I want to find purse sized air freshener to carry in my purse).  Also I have to be careful with the gassy foods,  too much gas is not good,  since I get a tad uncomfortable (rectal pressure), and have to go to the toilet to let it pass, so that causes more bathroom visits than is truly needed. If I didn't have to let the gas pass,  I don't have to actually have a bowel movement for several hours.   But other than that,  I"m doing great too!!
