what is the moldable wafer

I keep seeing lots of you talking about moldable wafers.  What is this and how does it work? I am 7 weeks post op from an ileostomy and still learning alot. Had lots of leaks at first.  My stoma is located almost in my waistline and I do not have a flat belly so bending over is a problem for me Finally tried the convex wafer and also using the belt.  I have not had a leak in over a week.  My biggest problem was that I had to go back to work and I was scared to death of a leak.  I have taken an extra pair of clothes (underwear and all)and put in my desk. I have a big enough purse to carry everything with me that I would need in case of an accident. 

I too use the moldable and love it! I trim some of the tape off and cover the whole thing with a sure seal. 7 months and not one leak. I was outside in the woods all day today and sweat soaked shirt and pants all the way through walking and working....but no leaks
