Couple of months since my end ileostomy surgery and little blood in mucous discharge normal?

Hi Everyone,

I've been having a lot of mucous discharge and it doesn't seem to be getting any less ... I know it's supposed to get less and less as time goes by ...
However, I've noticed that I have some blood in my mucous discharge sometimes. Also, it seems to happen when I feel extremely tired for some reason (don't know if they're connected). It's almost so light .. looks pink.

I had suffered from severe pouchitis with my JPouch before the end ileostomy ... could this be the remains of that?

Jus wanted to ask you guys and gals before I bugged my doc :)

Yup ... rectal discharge. I seem to have to empty almost everytime I empty my bag. Also, it's quite a bit, can't quantify it tho :)

Thanks suebear ... but is the slight bleeding normal? Very little ... pinkish ....

My doctor told me that mild bleeding is normal due to the disuse of it. I tried glycerin suppositories and my rectum bled pretty bad. I then tried a salt water enema...OUCH...big mistake. I must not produce much mucous or it is stuck inside somewhere. GROSS

How the heck did you collect it !! :)
I think my surgeon would walk out on me if I did something like that .... good thing he's a good friend LOL!!!
