Ok so i've been in and out for tests pre-op etc.. i was checked to see if i had any leaks in my j-pouch, no leaks. yay. But i've been running a small test of my own.
Im testing different types of noise "music/high pitched sound waves" to see what would cause uncoutrolable stool movements. I had to eat about that same things for a good 8 days but only managed to do 6 days and the same amounts, so i could try and get fair results.
So I tested myself to different types of music. Metal, Pop, Rap, Techno, Country.
I only prefer metal and techno but i had to have two others so the test would still be fair and one thats netural to me.
Day 1. Techno. After eating i waited 30 minutes and then listen to techno for an hour. a while later "2-3 hours" stool came out of my stoma into my ostomy it was very loose.
Day 2. Rap. Again after eating i waited 30 minutes and listen to rap for an hour "i was confused because i couldnt understand everything". Very quickly i noticed stool was emptying into my bag and was off and on within minutes until nothing was really left.
Day 3. Country. After eating i waited 30 minutes and again listen to music but this time country for an hour. I had stools slowly but kinda mushy.
Day 4. Metal. Same deal eat wait 30 min's then listen for an hour. I couldnt tell but it was off and on but it was kinda solid "mushy but not as mushy if that makes since."
Day 5. Pop. This was an easy day because my mum listens to lady gaga and some m.j.
I had ate waited 30 mins but this time i was in a car. :P so this day threw me a little off track so ill have to do this again.
Day 6. High pitched sounds. High sound waves. I couldnt really tell how this would affect me but i did it anyway. I had done same thing as before but i only had mushy stool and off and on.
I couldnt do all the days since i started to come down with a cold and went in and out of the doctors. I think since a had a small cold coming on the test wasnt too on target. but i was bored and wanted to see what happened with what music.
I would say the test would be in controlled conditions. I used a bass sound system and an mp3 so i wouldnt trust to results anyway.
Just something a wanted to post on.
