Fluid shooting out of stoma

Hello,
I have had my current illeostomy for several years - every so often I will have a stomach ache followed by pure fluid shooting out of the stoma. It usually continues for a few hours, followed by weakness and pain. Any ideas here? Thank you

I think it would be a partial blockage. I have this every so often as well.
Drink lots of fluids. I also have a ginger ale when this happens. Seems to help get things moving.

A partial blockage makes a lot of sense - Going out to get some ginger ale right now - thanks a ton!
