hernia- what to do?

I saw my surgeon today and he told me I had a stomahernia. I have two choices. 1. move my stoma to another site, this is my one and only chance to do it, so I'm screwed if something happens again. Plus there is a 40% chance of a hernia coming back in the same place. Option 2: take down my stoma, while this would be my first choice, my rectum has 2 fistulas unhealed and active crohns. My doc isn't even sure if I would be able to hold a bowl movement my rectum is so messed up. I was just wondering what anyone else has done and if it was successful.
