SCARS from Laranscopic Subtotal Colectomy???

I am a 24 year old female who needs to have Laparoscopic subtotal colectomy in May 2011 due to severe constipation. I am scared and one thing that is worrying me is the scars from the surgery... Apparently there will be 4/5 incisions? Please could anyone who has had a Laparoscopic subtotal colectomy advise me on what the scars are like afterwards? I have not seen any photo and don't know what to expect.

they are small scars my lapro had only 3 small scars but they did not remove my colon...dr said it was not necessary at this time. I was also diagnosed with sever constipation and pelvic floor dysfunction. My ileo is the best thing that I did. I do miss the times reading in the bathroom but not the straining,enemas,etc....Trixiemom

My big scar is about 2 inches long, but it is down in the pubic area so nobody can see it. I have another small incision that looks more like a large pimple healing. I also have a 3/4 inch incision that is next to my hip bone. I will have a scar from where my stoma is. I don't know how big that one will be. My stomach looks much better than I thought it would.
