Sometimes I wonder how I advanced as far as I did in school. I graduated my B.S. in Biology with full intentions of becoming a physician assistant. I studied, studied, studied, and I put in a lot of hours to get good grades. I think about
it now, and I am like no wonder I never pursued further with my education because I always felt weak and never very good! For the past year, I do just enough to get through my day at work, and then come home and sit on the couch because I don't feel good! =( Also, I would love to further my education. Now I have just decided I would love to get my master's or wish I did a back-up and got a teaching certificate to teach biology and math. However, this disease has taken over my life. Like I said, maybe me losing my job right now when I am about
to have surgery will be a fresh new start for me. I hope so!!!
As for laxatives, I tried senokot several times, and it does not work very well for me. The only thing I find that works the best for me is dulcolax, which I absolutely hate! One-either it is going not going to work, or work!! Plus, I get awful cramps and chills with this laxative sometimes, but I don't know what else to do. I try to take a stool softner just to give me something a little extra sometimes, so I won't cramp as bad b/c also, I feel one little extra pill can make a difference of going! or not going! =(
