Rosemary, my adhesive removers contain alcohol. My surgeon's assistant phoned today and he is prescribing the Nystop powder. I told him it didn't look like a fungal infection. I had that last year and know what it looks like. This just looks like a bad burn. He said it just may be due to the acid in the juice and maybe some stool got under the wafer causing the burn. He recommended I trim the wafer a bit because the redness is more toward the outside of the wafer. Another thing I do wrong...when I shower I do not thoroughly dry the outside of the bag 
. BAD! That is why I have some irritation on the skin under the bag. I should use my hair dryer to dry the bag more thoroughly. Live and learn..lol. Thanks for your reply. I hope you are feeling better soon! Viruses really pull me down, especially since this operation. Thank God I've only felt yukky with a virus twice since. Do you get a flu shot? I haven't gotten one in years. Seems like I ALWAYS got sick following that darn shot. I haven't had the flu in years either, but don't want to push my luck. My friend had the pneumonia shot last year and a few months later wound up in the hospital with double pneumonia...go figure.
Oh, I am sticking with the cranberry juice..lol.
