Still pain from cramping...what the bleep!

So frustrating and it's messing with my mind. I'm still having pain from cramping. My colon was removed august 22nd. Maybe my tolerance for pain is low? some days are better than others but today feels pretty bad.

I am also still "pooping" pale discharge from my rectum. I also feel like I'm having urgency. Not strong urgency but it's puzzling since I have no colon.

I'm gonna get thru this, right??

After any operation on your abdomen, you're unfortunately going to have cramping. When I had my ileostomy reversed last year, I had very bad gas pains for about two months before walking and walking and walking helped them to finally go away.

Definitely walk, walk, walk .

My husband had a total proctocolectomy as well so no discharge problems but it is not uncommon to have "phantom" rectal pain for a few months after the surgery. It should pass and go away over time.
