Well, it seems just like yesterday I was writing for advice. Today is my daughters one year since her take-down surgery. A couple of bumps along the way with pouchitis but other then that she is doing great.

I never thought we would get this far as sick as she was. She is gaining her weight back and out running around like a normal teenage girl.

I would just like to thank everyone for all their help. This is a wonderful site.
I am sure some of you don't realize how much you help people.

So nice to hear she is doing well and being a normal teenager. Those surgeries sure are tough but they are so worth it in the end. I would do it over in a heartbeat!

Thats great news! So nice to hear when people are doing well, but also good to know we are all here for each other in times of need. All the best for continuing good health

Worried mom....

This is WONDERFUL! I remember, very well, your posts from a year ago. There is nothing better than seeing our kids resume the life of a "normal", healthy kid.

Dillon, as well, is doing great and living life exactly the way he should be.

That is fantastic news! Congratulations! The 1st year is always difficult, but you've made wonderful improvements and life from here on out will be so bright for all of you!!! My best.....
