The physical therapy got off to a slow start. the first 3 sessions were about her teaching me to totally relax the muscles and getting the insurance cleared for the biofeedback machine. It came last week, I have to insert something in my butt and do exerciess for 15 minutes 2x a day, but the muscle gets so cramped that it is too painful. So the lady from the company that makes the machine is coming to my next therapy with something else that will relax the muscle and we will work together with my therapist. During one session with her all I did was cry about my job situation (which is absurd and I am losing my job for absurd reasons that having nothing to do with me, and got another six months with one of the other directors trying to work me into his projects so that I might have a chance to stay but I am going to take the first job offered just to get out of a politically sick situation). So no changes yet but my therapist says there is nothing wrong there, only that in my 12 months of stoma, the muscles lost their coordination and will relearn that with the biofeedback. Six months is what I'm told. No changes as of now, but I have mostly everything under control with tons of immodium etc.
So I didn't understand what your last surgery was about, that's why I asked if you had a take-down. Now I see in your signaure what it was about. Sorry you had to go through that, I'm still amazed, even after all I've been through, what all of us here have to go through!
