Takedown Scheduled for July 3rd! Cant belive im here already

I had my gastrografin Enema the other day all went good. i had some cramping(very painful) afterwards and she wants to do a flexable something or other exam I know I go to sleep for it. Thats tuesday and if all looks well with that then takedown in July 3rd. Thank you everyone for your help...its amazing I made it this far <3

Could you tell me a bit more about how the gastrografin enema works? Is it just an enema given before an X-ray? Is it only put in the rectum, or also the stoma leading there? I called the local radiology places nearby and none of them had ever heard of it! so I'm having to schedule mine back at Hopkins.

k so the way the test works is you go into an xray room an lay on your side and the place a very flexible rubber tube in your rectum only about 3 inches or so, They then start to pass the enema dye threw the tube and take xray images. I had to lie on my left side then a little more on my back and the last shot was on my tummy. It wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought and there is no required prep.

Today I had a pouchoscopy. No Prep also. I was asleep for the procedure and its basically a shorter version of a colonocspy.

Surgery is 100% on for Tuesday she said she couldn't have been more please with how wonderful everything has healed and how great I had done. I am so thrilled!
