I hope everyone is doing well today :O)
I was just looking for someone else to talk to with the same issue and can't quite believe what I'm reading - especially the lady who said she felt like her body was in a two week cycle of saving everything up and then going at once! As that was me!
Jackie_22 - I had a lot of pain in my left shoulder after my surgery (I'm not a doctor so I would say ask the ward or your doc if its still there as after I came out they said I was welcome to call with any queries :O) but the nurses said mine was from the air they inflate you with so they can see and it can get stuck. It passed for me after about 5 days so hope the same is true for you :O)
I'm now a couple of years post hemi-colectomy and rectal prolapse repair and was just wondering if anyone is or knows anyone on Resolor and Macrogol and or using Phosphate enemas please? As I appear to be retaining 4xdose of Macrogol taken all at once (taking more doesn't seem to do much for anything else except my wind!) it was passing after 4-7 days! but now trying to evict with an enema but feel like someone is giving me a hug / snake bite - not bad pain though just sore - all around my front - above belly button under ribs - I have a lot of wind etc so not thinking something is wrong, wrong but without giving too much info. as I'm sure you'll know when you're full of all this laxative stuff, wind etc and don't have a 'normal' bowel habit its quite difficult to know whether any discomfort is actually constipation or what? When I did go with the enema yesterday it was super soft and I do feel like I did feel like I had diarrhoea without actually having it after the Movicol so wondering if its festering in there and I'm just bloated? Any thoughts much appreciated as its putting me off eating a bit as that seems to make it worse? Also have acid (not had that a lot since surgery) but thats becoming a bit of a nuisance again - does anyone else get this? Been suggested by my surgeon that wind is pinching my diaphragm?
