How do you keep your mag levels up I have to go to the hospital 3x a week plus I drink a liquid mag 2x aday cause I dont hod my mag I do my best to keep the stool thick and then I can get out of the critical zone but something always manages to drtrain it right out of me and If they give me to much I wi,ll get the dirrahea, any help will be appreciated,,

I had to do the same after my first surgery. Eventually my own levels increased. I still have malabsorption problems and take liquid supplements but I no longer need iv's. I hope you have the same experience. BTW low magnesium levels make it hard to communicate clearly. My husband used to use my speech clarity to judge whether or not I needed another infusion. Of course, each time I went a blood test was used to determine how much magnesium I needed.
