What to expect post takedown?

As usual my topic is described fully in the title

Everyone is so different post takedown.. there are some fantastic success stories, and some less so. It's hard to predict, but the reason you had surgery and how much colon you have left will give you an indicator of how things might go. Can you remind us what you've had done so far and why? sorry I can't remember. What's the date for your surgery?

So you have a j-pouch? in that case I really don't know as I had a partial colectomy then reconnection which didn't work - for other reasons.

There are lots on here who have fantastic success with their j-pouches though.. sure some will be along soon to answer your questions. Good luck
