Reunited and it feels so (not) good...pyoderma time

I think I'm on my third pyoderma gangrenosum since my surgery on August 30. I've called Cleveland Clinic and left a message...I'll probably be getting in in the next couple of days.

Does anyone else have recurring pyoderma problems like this?

I've heard at least one other person say they had sores for quite awhile. I've had two locations and seemingly three separate occasions of pyoderma. This new one seems to be in the same spot as the second, but that went away in January.

Yes, I've had many Pyoderma flares but most of them happened when I had bad ulcerative colitis flares. First spot on back, many spots on legs, and developed PG under thumb nail which resulted in amputation of thumb tip. The PG flares seem to be related to stress and my digestive tract flares. I was on cyclosporin for years and it was just about the only thing that helped. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the info. And I have to say...under the thumb nail? Ouch :(
