From Rosemary:
Boston surgery stoma relocation a disaster prolapsed stoma, short gut syndrome, am on TPN 18 hours a day. I cannot get to my computer and blackberry is off and on. I cannot urinate without tpn. I am going broke with 24 hour care. The surgeon left me with 5 feet of small bowel only and short gut. To my knowledge I had at least 16 feet prior to the sept 4 surgery. He admitted to removal of 3 feet. Where is the rest? Have hickman catheter in chest, I have no clue if I am going to make it or not. That is why I have not posted. Thx again for thinking of me. Was hospitalized for a month on ng tube with adhesion obstruction. Then another week for dehydration. Sooooooo sad. I just should have kept the stoma that could only opass liquud as I was doing better than now. Irony is now i can eat some but the immodium they make you take for the short gut kills your hunger! I cannot win! Tell everyone my news and I miss them. Rosemary
