Last meal of the day is usually around 6-6:30pm but I always have a little something between dinner and bedtime. Actually, I often have a couple of
cookies or crackers with tea as I'm in bed reading. Most typically I sleep at least 7-8 hours without waking up, but when I do wake up, I always have the Goodyear Blimp attached to me. It's so tight you could bounce a dime off of it. 13 months with my ileo and I've never had a leak or a blowout
Knock on Wood !
I use Hollister convex bags with the Adapt Barrier ring. Took me a couple of months to get the right bag set up and it works quite well. I also have a nearly perfect stoma that sticks straight out so I think that helps things. I really do like the way the Hollister bag seals. I change my bag every five days and that works out great.
It never fails to amaze me how much gas output there is during sleep. I use the Osto EZ vent on every bag so during the day, gas is easily released. I've learned its not a good idea to use it in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep without putting a tissue over it because sometimes more than air comes out and its really stinky.
I take it all in stride because this life if WAY better than the UC life.
