My husband who has lived well without a colon for years now is facing the prospects of having his rectal stump removed due to inflammation.
I'd like to hear from people (men especially) who have had this done. Specifically, I would like to know if there were any permanent changes to your ability to engage in a healthy sex life. My husband is very young, only 30, and the risk of impotence is obviously very distressing to him.
Any and all feedback is requested. Thank you!
