Total Colectomy with resection

Hello I am new to this board wish I had found it sooner. Dec 7 2004 I had my large Intestine removed no bag though done pretty good but the bloating has never gone away so surgeon was concerned I strain when going to the bathroom which I still have soft to loose stools which is normal but the frequency and the straining is not he said so he says do 2 inemas and we will do a scope with dialation thinks I have scar tissue causing blockage okay well not much results from the inemas so think okay I am pretty clean keeping in mind I have been having lots of loose past 3-4 days so was in the shospital for a couple days due too deydration which is common. anyways get there he gets in told later that there was nothing he could do was not cleaned out repeat test in 6 weeks what are you kidding so going to call monday to get the scoop for myself sometimes the men dont always get stories backt o us clearly.

I have allot of bloating. Gas and belching what do you all think anyones advice or experiecnces is greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
I hope everyone is recovering well. I wanted to know if anyone has an idea about getting information on the quality of care for a hospital. I have had two consultations with two different surgeons. They are from two different hospitals. I thought if I could get information about the quality of care for both hospitals it would make my decision easier.
