This isn't a super-new phenomenon, but I've been noticing it more and more lately...perhaps as I'm getting more active...
When laying or sitting, my stoma is generally half an inch to a full inch long. However, if I'm up walking for an extended period time (say 30 minutes+), the stoma will lengthen significantly. At times, it will extend at least half way down my bag - so call it perhaps 6 inches long? The stoma and area around it can get somewhat uncomfortable to even a little painful when this happens. If I rest for a little while, it will 'retract' back to its normal state.
Is this normal?
