Pressure and nausea after proctectomy

It's me again and I'm just about pulling my hair out. I'm 3 1/2 months post-proctectomy and have been feeling nauseous with lots of pressure in my bottom. The wound is healed and there's no drainage, fever or anything. I've contacted my surgeon and am waiting to hear back.

I'm just wondering - has anyone out there had these symptoms? I'm so frustrated right now. I just returned to work and am only part-time and it seems like it's taking forever for me to feel "good".

I've felt better - that's for sure . I don't have any drainage, and not really pain - just extreme discomfort. My surgeon ordered a CT scan to see if maybe there's some fluid in the pelvic/perineal area. I'm sure it's nothing but I guess I'd rather know for sure.

Don't worry - you'll be fine. My recovery has just been a little up and down, plus my tolerance for pain and discomfort is pretty low.
