How do I approach this?

My sister has an ostomy for several years. She is living with me.
The problem is that she does not clean up well after herself.
I am constantly cleaning poop from the toilet seat, the floor, the sink.

How do I mention this to her? I do not want to offend her but I am so stressed out. I have to go to the bathroom every time and clean--which is about once an hour or so. Also she seldom uses the fan and the smell is bad.

She is a very clean person other than this. I am so very afraid to upset her that I have said nothing.

Any ideas?

I agree with Eva. You just have to tell her. She's your sister.....she'll get over it if she's offended although she shouldn't be because it's just common courtesy to clean up after yourself and it's your house.

Its not an eyesight problem, I am really not sure why it is like this. Like I said she is a clean person.
I guess I will just have to say something since it is not getting better by itself.

I use a deodorant called "SG3" and I guarantee no one that I have not told, has any idea that I have an Ostomy and have had it for 14 years. Each time I empty I put a squirt in my pouch and it is excellent. There are several brands on the market but this one works best for me. I suspect she is not using one, possibly because they are expensive or she was not trained of the need by her ostomy nurse.
