Thanks for the responses. Appreciate the info.
I went to buy it at the store, and asked at the pharmacy if they carried it. I had written (very clearly) the name of it on a piece of paper, and handed it to the pharmacy tech so she could see the spelling. She said "oh, i know where that is" and took me down an aisle. She stops and mumbles something about anti-itch products. ??? I tried to be polite, and I said it was an ointment for wound care, a moisture barrier cream. She says oh, I know what it is. So, there's another worker stocking shelves in that aisle, so she asks him where it is, only she hands him the paper I gave her rather than saying the name of it out loud to him (pretty sure she was unable to sound out the word)(and she realized she had no clue what it was). He tells her to look next to the triple antibiotic ointment. Lol. So, we wander over there for a second and I took my paper back out of her hand, said thanks anyway, and left. Went to my usual pharmacy, asked the pharmacy person where to find it, she said, "oh, ok, i know just where it is." Sure enough, it was right next to a couple of other wound care products and moisture barriers, same aisle as the depends. No anti-itch cream or antibiotic cream anywhere nearby. Makes me appreciate the intelligence of the people at my regular pharmacy!!
Also, saw an ad a few days ago for butterfly shaped cotton pads used for "light fecal leakage", which are meant to help absorb moisture, etc. Of course, I don't remember what the brand was, but I do remember that they are now carried at Target stores. Just FYI.
