Temporary Loop Ileostomy

Hello, I have a question I had a loop ileostomy 3 weeks ago and have passed mucus a few times which I know is normal, but when I passed mucus today there was also blood and blood when I wiped. Is this normal? I read that it can happen just wondering if anyone else experienced this and if I should be worried. I will call my Dr in the morning to let him know.

Mucous and blood from your bottom/anus, right? It is totally normal. Wouldn't hurt to mention it to the doctor though and keep an eye on the amount of blood just to be safe.

I had pinkish mucous or straight blood pretty much everyday with my ileos.
