Pain After Partial Blockage

I had blockages every few days due to a stricture until it was removed last October. The pain you're feeling is exactly the same as I had. I think it was caused by the bowel trying to contract and push the stuff along but being unable to, bit like having a pulled muscle after going to the gym. I would take it easy on what you eat for next few days as bowel will also be swollen and keep to low residue foods and liquids. Mine gradually got better after about 3-4 days and it would be so sore could barely stand up straight and felt like I had been kicked in stomach by a horse.

Do you know what caused the blockage, as it would be useful for you to know for your own peace of mind. Take it easy and it should settle down in a few days as long as stoma in working now without issues, if not go to your doctor.
