While I had the stoma a lost 3 1/2 stones, I only stopped when the weight lost caused problems (pains around the stoma).
White I still had the stoma I started with the lunch box diet (big salad boxes to much on from morning to mid afternoon) I found that if I loaded the salads (and any other food) with avocado or guacamole then I had no trouble digesting it, combining that with HIIT workouts at home (via youtube) helped me drop the weight.
2 years after the reversal and I put a lot of weight back on (I have more trouble with food now than I did while I had the stoma). Not enough stodgy food and I get a bad stomach in one direction, to much and I go the other way. Again avocados are a big help though I have to be more careful now about how much I eat. The weight is starting to come off though which is great. Juicing for breakfast and lunch helped me drop 10lbs in just 2 weeks and oddly enough stopped the dodgy tummy issues completely.
