Anyone use the Coloplast Sensura Mio?

I just got some Sensure Mio bags from coloplast, I really like the bag because it seems smaller and you can tuck it up and has a peek a boo window. But I don't know about the flange. It's a 2 piece that adheres only with adhesive? That seems scary to me. And the flange is huge thick plastic.

Just curious people's results with these because the bag itself seems ideal for me, but not sure about the rest of the system.

I love the pouch too. I don't like the coloplast wafers, they are so stiff. I tried the mio and I always had a leak because I need convex. They don't make mio in convex yet. I am on the waiting list to try it when it becomes available. They make it in a 2 piece that is a snap together. I don't love their snap system, it's got this difficult outer ring that can pop off. I tried the one piece, the 2 piece adhesive and the 2 piece snap and I had leak with all :( I wish i could attach the mio pouch to a hollister flange. that would be a dream!

The only time I have ever had a leak is with the Mio. I use the Sensura line and love it.

I do use the 1 piece Mio from time to time, usually every 3rd change, something like that. When Hollister gets too itchy, I switch to Mio. But it doesn't hold up near as long as Hollister- I get really nervous around day 5 with the Mio, & if it leaks, it's right around then. I get 7+ days, no problem, with Hollister. And yeah, the wafer does seem huge- but I hear the pre-cuts are smaller. I like them, comfy, flexible, etc. But also, the edges of the wafer always peel up, like 1/4" around the outer edges of the entire thing, it lifts off my skin. So then I freak out & check it all the time, thinking the whole thing is going to come off. It doesn't, but.... Mio is ok, not my fave, but a good option.

I love the Sensura Mio. I have the 2 piece with the locking ring. I find the locking ring puts my mind at ease, and I don't have to worry about the adhesive. I get good wear time out of it as well, I change it every 5 days, but could probably push a few more days if I wanted too.

I only use the Mio 2-piece. I've never had a leak and I find it to be the most comfortable, for me, of all that I've tried.

It's impossible for the outer ring to pop off, if you click the locking mechanism.

The pre-cut wafers are much smaller than the cut-to-fit ones.

I love some of the features...especially the closure, the feel of the material and how quickly it dries after a shower, and how you can Velcro it in half making the bag so much shorter when you need it to be.

All this being said, while its great for me, it's not for everyone. So keep trying until you find your favorite!!

I changed my bag today so decided to try out the Mio. So far so good, wore it all day and this one definitely works the best with my jeans.

I hope this works for my stoma and no leaks because I really like how the wafer feels. My skin felt so much better and I don't notice it all.

I actually have a nurse from Coloplast calling to me tomorrow to give me some samples of these bags! I'm very appy with my current set-up, but doesn't hurt to try some other products too!

Today is day 4 wearing the Mio. I really like this bag, my skin didn't get as itchy with this wafer as it did with the holister or convatec. The filter seemed to last almost 3 days which is pretty good for me and I love this bag in the shower!!! It really repels water and I didn't have to dry my bag!!

It does look like wafer is on its way out today so I am going to change it and not push it.
