Notsosicklygirl - Hollister wafer ?

So I got 2 different wafers for the 2 piece from Hollister and of course at the beginning I wasn't paying attention and didn't write down the numbers that were on the package. One was a ceramide flex I think and the other was just a flex something for extended wear. I don't know which was which, think I liked the first wafer I wore better.

Anyways, I wondered what product # was the Hollister wafer you used with your end? I wanted to see if it was one of the ones on my package slip from Hollister. Thank you!

I usually use the one with ceramide. it's #5011402 on edgepark. I use flextend #5014802 sometimes and that one has always worked well for me too. I wear convex so yours will be a different number :(

I am having a terrible day with this thing again. Burn, change, burn, change...

Thank you!!! Those convex numbers were the exact corresponding flat wafer numbers I'm using. I ordered a box of each since I don't change that much. If I like one more thanthe other it shouldn't matter before I can reorder.

Placed my first order on Edgepark. Hopefully my Dr an insurance respond quickly, but I still have 2 Mios and 1 Hollister left and plenty of icky hospital samples so I should be good if this first order takes a bit of time.

You're really getting into this quickly, i am impressed :) It took me so long to try samples and figure out what I liked. I had so many flat samples left over... I gave them all to my friend who recently had surgery. I really can't wear flat, my stoma is so short. I think my biggest challenge was figuring out that I needed convex.

i ended up having to call edgepark to get my insurance verified. I waited a few days and it still said "pending". I called, she was able to verify while i was on the phone and everything moved forward quickly from there. I seriously had 2 wafers left at that time, I was starting to get nervous. Luckily, items arrive over night to my address.

I think I got lucky with a pretty good stoma and a couple of the flat wafer samples worked good right away. I only like the Hollister an Coloplast samples. I hate the Convatec samples and hospital samples I got so I just went for it! I didn't want to run out of what I liked. Especially since my adhesive issue on Saturday I do not want to have to use the Convatecs I have.

I had a coloplast stick to me like convatec and now I am scared of them too. The convatec is really tough to get off. I am getting the sensicare adhesive remover, everyone says it works really well. I have always used the cheapo wipes and they worked well, but I was using hollister, if I want to use convatec or coloplast, I need the sensicare or brava it sounds like. I am still having major issue with my loop but I've made it through 24hours with this pouch, that makes me happy. If I make it until tomorrow it will be a miracle (if i am allotted one miracle, i hope this isn't the one I get. I'd much prefer a load of money dumped through my window). The pouches they gave me at the hospital were clear. Those gross me out.

I have seen a lot of people mention the sensicare so those are the ones I ordered. The only Coloplast samples I got were the Mios, those came off pretty good, until I got to that darn Brava barrier!! I am really dreading my next bag change, I hope this Hollister I have on lasts a week!!!

I hope your bag makes it through the night and that you wake up to a pile of money at the foot of your bed!!! turn
