Yes -- for me this was a surprisingly easy part of the pre-takedown testing. I was concerned because, like you, I wasn't able to hold in enemas well (when I had my colon and rectum). I blame this on the UC related inflammation, as I had absolutely no issue retaining this enema while they were doing their procedure with my jpouch I actually was able to slowly sit up, walk to the bathroom, sit on the toilet, make a conscious effort to relax my muscles down there, before starting to pee and release the enema without any leakage along the way. I felt like I could've stopped to have a brief conversation on the way to the bathroom if needed. If you don't have any active inflammation, you should be fine.
No idea how much dye they use...for me it was enough to fill the jpouch and the small intestine leading up to my loop ileo.
