Rectal bleeding and diharrea

Still in the hospital for the obstruction but on target to get out today. Yesterday I started with diharrea and blood from the rectum. I didn't think that was going to happen, but only a little- based on experiences of there that I've read on here.

I told my nurse but she didn't seem too bothered. I'm hoping to see the PA/doc before I get discharged. I thought a little was okay. But I'm passing D and blood almost every time I go pee. It the urgency is getting increasingly worse. Not even comparable to when my UC was bad but it's still urgency.

You're going to have more mucus than people with an end ileo because your Jpouch is larger than just a rectum (step1 of 3).

The blood is most likely from the surgical areas in your jpouch.

This is very normal.

I had lots of stuff with my end, not as much with my loop. sometimes I had liquid with my loop, must have passed through somehow.

Most of it is mucus. My surgeon explained to me like your mouth makes saliva, your intestines make a mucus to help.
