Hi, I'm new to this site, but would like so help and advice if possible.
My husband had his reversal of 3 weeks ago and is having a bad time of it at the moment.
He is having real problems even standing without wanting to go to the loo straight away, is this the norm?
He is also getting real bad spasms in his stomach when he does go.
At the moment he must be going to the loo about 20 times per day and 5 during the night.
He also has stitches hanging from his bot about 4-5 inches long and all the gp says is tape them up so they don't get in the way, the knot at the top of the stitches is causing real discomfort, has anyone experienced this?
Also because of the frequent trips to the loo his bot is red and tender, gp has given him Betnovate cream, but after reading up on this you apparantley shoud not use it in the anus area!!
If anyone has any suggestions and adviced i would really appreciate it.
