parastomal hernia help

I have had an ileostomy since 1985 and had a mess of problems

Then I went to a Mayo trained doctor in 1988 for two surgeries

I have been fine since 1988 until recently

I got sick in October

I was told I had a parastomal hernia of the emergency type

I had surgery

The next day it strangulated

My surgeon said it was my fault

I have had pain since then

I kept telling him I did not think it was fixed

I have had some barium studies that say I have no hernia

The last time I went to him he said that I had a hernia again

I will have another study next week

Does anyone know of a really good surgeon who deals with parastomal hernias

I went 1,000 miles to have the 1988 guy operate

I would like to not have to do that again in case of follow up problems with the hernia

But...where are the really good parastomal hernia surgeons to be found

Does anyone know?
