An unusual reason to be glad you have an ostomy...

So I have no idea why I was thinkign about this, but it occured to me that having an ostomy could be really handy for something really odd.

Imagine you are walking in a parking lot at night and someone tries to attack you, all you would have to do is rip that bag off and threaten to throw it at them, and I bet they would run right away!

LOl, I have thought about this myself before. it would be just my luck for the attacker to have some sort of weird fetish though and then I might be in worse trouble eyes

There's no need for us to bring a raft or noodle to the beach anymore, an ostomy bag full of air makes for a handy flotation device. Just lay on your back and float. :-)

So i just got back from camping....we took a few boats, there was twelve of us out on the lake for two whole days....

at least no one else wants a turn on the tube after your bag comes off and it leaks all over the tube....no more waiting my turn.....after changing my pouch....i had the tube to myself the rest of the day.....!

and yes, I found out that you can drain a pouch underwater.....i had no choice, the closest bush or bathroom was a mile away......i don't think there was anything I could hide behind....thank god that lake is not a reservoir!

LOL! I don't think I would have wanted that tube either, next time do it right away then you won't have to share.
It could be used as a floation device, we should get the speech like flight attendants give from our ET nurse.
