Cleveland Clinic

Have you had a positive or negative experience with the Cleveland Clinic?  Either way, I'd like to know your experience.  My husband is due to have surgery there on June 11th. with Dr. Stocchi to remove his colon. 

Thank you for your information.  I'm hoping my husband has a good experience.   We are coming in on June 7th because he has a lot of tests etc. in getting ready for the surgery on June 11th.  Good luck with your surgery.  I know my husband just wants this surgery over with so he can get on with his life.  Dr. Stocchi is going to remove the colon this time and then wants my husband to return in six months so it can be decided whether he has a J-Pouch or not.  My husband is leaning against having a J-Pouch and just dealing with a bag for the rest of his life.  We have heard about so many problems associated with the J-Pouch.  My husband is 56 and Dr. Stocchi said that he was at the age limit where having a J-Pouch isn't that advisable.
