question about my resection due to my current ileostomy

I am a little concerned.  The doctor is going to resect me sooner than expected since my abscess was no longer getting less drainage out.  I got the date today and it is set for the 20th.  When emptying my drain bag today there was double the amount of fluid in there than normal.  There had been a fistula feeding the abscess before.  That however showed that it closed in my last CT scan back 1 month ago.  After I drained the bag it appears to have some fecal matter in it again.  Will the doctor still be able to do the surgery if there is a fistula there?  I have been having major issues now that my health insurance is no longer double coverage.  United is giving me lots of issues already.

I am ready sincethis abscess wont go away by any other means. My colorectal surgeon set everything up. At the time my fistula that was feeding the abscess went away. I ended up calling the on call surgeon which happened to be my surgeon. He asked if I wanted to go see him thiss week instead (I am going to him on the 12th). He was not concerned with the information I gave him.
