When is a good time?

I'm wondering when I should be preparing myself for the reversal surgery. How long did you guys wait from the time you had surgery the first time to going in for the reversal? 3 months, 6 months?

My doctor initially saud 6 months but due to the abscess (that wouldn't go away after 3 months of antibiotics) he did the surgery 4 months from thw ostomy surgery
