I phoned hollister this morning and as per usual didn't get through to anyone with a definitive answer, but when I told the person I talked to that my stoma was 7" wide and 4 1/2" up and down and protruded about
2" I must have blown her away. She could not believe that it ws as large as that. I tried to talk to an ostomy nurse, there, but they were all gone to lunch. I will try again. I thinkk thoough that the stoma is just too big for the pouch and when it gets some gas it just pops the bag off. I am getting sort of P>O'ed. It gets so dang messy. Besides the stoma hurts a lot of the time. I went to my GP for a flu shot and we talked about
this. He suggested that I see another surgeon and recommended one and made an appointment for me next Thursday. Surgery is a very poor option considering the status of my heart and lungs, but I did get my on my colostomy. I'll let you know
