weeping skin

the skin where my incision is/was from my surgerys gets red and weeps a lot but that becomes a big problem because my wafers edge is on top of where its weeping so it makes it so the wafer doesn't stick. I have tried stoma powder and it works for about an hour but after that the wafer starts to come off so my question is does anyone know how to stop the skin from weeping so much / how to get the skill to heal?

Another question is my stoma seams to go in a lot to the point where its almost flat to my stomach but other times its huge is that normal?

I had to cut the edges off my wafer because I was having a similar issue. Then I took an Eakin seal and rolled it back and forth between my hands and made it long and skin like a play-doh snake. I took that Eakin and used it to line the side of my wafer so my wafer would stick to my skin even though I cut the tape off. This worked well for me.
