hallucinations

What exactly are hallucinations caused by meds taken for Parkinson's like? Are they visual and auditory? Is it only a skewed perception of something? I have PD and I have been on requip and carbolevadopa, and my husband has said that I used to not perceive reality correctly. I have had DBS and am doing great now, and my husband says there's nothing wrong with my thinking now. Sometimes we remember past conversations in different ways and he always attributes that to hallucinations on my part, but I think not. Any comments?

I won't repeat it here, but I refer you to my post in the "dealing with Mom's hallucunations" thread. I will add that, while on Requip, I did see bugs, some of them just a glimpse out of the corner of the eye and the last one was a large mosquito that floated slowly across ny field of vision. When I tried to grab it it was gone.
