carbidopa-levodopa

I recently started with carbidopa-levodopa 25-100. My blood pressure went way down and my pulse as low as 40. After each pill I cannot stay awake. Anybody else have this side effect? What did you do?

I can't tolerate carb-levodopa at all. I'm on other medications and it immediately disables them making me useless. Mirapex ER, with Azilect and Amantadine keep me doing whatever I want. Mirapex ER makes it possible the others help.

Thanks for the reply. I have been taking Azilect with good success. I also take one trihexyphenidyl (artane) to help with tremors. I stopped the carbidopa-levadopa and my blood pressure/pulse is returning to normal. Strangely enough some of my mediication problems are due to eye medications that I must use.
