Doctor and Nuero says its Anxiety?.. i dont think so

Out of the blue one day i felt strange... i felt like i needed to sit down, i realized that my balance was off... this started 8 months ago and i still live with it, it comes and goes... the more im walking then i feel it come on slowly and feel that my balance is not 100%... months passed by from my initial first symptom and now i have developed twiches everywhere, eye lids, cheeks, biceps, calves, thighs, chest, i think my prostate too... ive seen my thumb and pinky twitch before, few times only, ive seen my pinky have a twitch/tremor for a few seconds.. oh and my toes have twiched before... i have a slight pain that i get on the bridge of my nose and also feel like my left side of face feels numb but when i touch it i can feel it normaly... recently i feel that theres something stuck in my throat, feel that i have to make more of a effort to swallow... MRI was normal... All labs were normal... saw a doctor recently and told me it was anxiety.. strange because i dont feel anxious?... he had me walk in a straight line, walk on my toes, checked reflexes... says that its all normal.. for along time i was thinking i have MS but now im leaning heavy on PD... all my symptoms come and go.

I spoke to a nuero right when i got my first symtom which was my balance... about 7 months ago.. at the time i was just telling him its MS, i never had thought it was PD... checked my reflexes, everything i think they do... he siad it was anxiety... at that time i never had twiches at all... i sent me to a phycatrist that i refused to go... i went back to my doctor about a week later telling him that i think its ms, he had me walk in a line and check me out and put me on lexapro because he i told him i was very depressed, i mean who wouldnt be... i had lost my job because of my symptoms.. i end up in a 5150 because im going insane for answers, i start taking lexapro when i get out for two weeks but stop because i know that this is not going to fix my main problem.... months went by i start getting twitches everywhere, i do some research and read that its a MS symptom, so im still thinking its ms... about two or three weeks ago i see a doctor, only because im trying to get some disability/aid... i tell him my symptoms and how i think its MS... so has me walk on my toes, walk some more, checks reflexes and says im normal... but im still saying how it can be MS even though my MRI is normal... thats when he tell me he thinks its anxiety..... at that point i didnt know what to say really... im not anxious so how can i feel these strange unbalance feeling that will never go away.... Im a idiot for not ever thinking it was PD, the doctors or the nuero could have looked more into that.

You need to see a movement specialist.this is a specialized neurologist who would be best abled to give you a dx.Wish you the best.Ps let us know how you make out.Ed

i looked just looked into it... there is no movement specialist in my area, closest one is 3 hours away.... i also have no medical insurance.

yes im going to look into seeing a MDS, i found one in san jose area... should i tell him to give me a trial of drugs even though he says i look fine?

Movement issues is a biggie with me too. I do not have Parkinson's but, Many types of arthritis. EDS, FM, hip joint replacements on the rocks.....

I wish you all well. I will keep you in my prayers as Parkinson's robs you of so many things most people take for granted on a daily basis.

I like to fish to. As a women most find it strange. Wether fly fishing, deep sea fishing or river paddle boat floating no motor, for salmon, it's always an adventure. Ain't nothin like it. Nature at its best.

I was very athletic can hardly move now. Very frustrating.

Can't do much now as illness with so many itisis movement is a real issue. I have all the pics and experiences to recall and share my fish stories with my grand kids, & friends.

Fishing and animals are cheap therapy!!! I highly recommend it.
