I was diagnosed with PK two years ago,am doing well.have slight tremor in left arm. I have been using the neupro patch and recently my doctor put me on Azilect. I take one pill a day. My problem is I am seeing things that are not there and it is scary. I told the doctor he just seemed to be amused but I am not amused. Anyone else have this problem.

Yes many have this problem.It is often blamed on meds.You just started Azilect,which may cause your problem.Asthe nervous system gets more accustomed to this new drug perhaps the incidents of seeing things will drop.Give your drug time .Wish you the best.Ed

I have been taking Azilect for over 5 years. I never had the problem of seeing things. I do believe that it has slowed the progression and helped control the symptoms. Give it some time. I don't know what a neupro patch is. Perhaps there is a conflict. Is it a MAO inhibitor?

Azilect is an mao-b inhibitor.

Nupro (rotigotine) is a dopamine agonist. It can cause hallucinations as well as a rather lengthy list of of behavior disorders.

What dose Nupro are you on? I know there is a 2mg patch, just curious where they started you. Also, do you think it has helped with your tremor?
