Any suggestions on how best to reduce and/or prevent muscle pain and stiffness? I am a 52 yr old female, diagnosed two years ago. Have been on dopamine agonists since then and am satisfied with their efficacy in regards to managing tremour. Currently on Requip. I am very sports-oriented and swim or run four to five times weekly. So far so good, with the exception that in the last month I have had ever increasing muscle pain and stiffness. I'd like to attribute this to overly strenuous workouts; but in fact, due to the pain, my sessions of late have been of increasingly lower intensity.
Am I experiencing symptoms associated with disease progression or drug side effects? Would massage help?
