As I told you the slip of paper tells me the following:
The appearances would be consistant with early Parkinson's Disease affecting the right basal ganglia. However multi-system atrophy and supranuclear palsy can also provide a similiar appearance"
Now, as no one was actually getting back to me to talk to me about this bit of paper which is my result of the Isotope Dat Scan I sat in the Neurology OUtpatient department for over three hours to see someone who would.
I was told I wouldnt see a neuro til August and with the above I was too frightened to wait.
Well, when the consultant saw me we had a humdinger of a row and he told me "That means nothing, you dont have parkinsons, it was YOU who thought you had parkinsons and YOU who railroaded me into having the test done."
Right here are my questions "Why is an Isotope Dat scan done for parkinsons when I believe it costs around EUR1,700 to do, to fly the nuclear injection from holland, perform and read!
If it actually means nothing, why do it or even invent it in the first place?
And if it means nothing why does the chite of paper read as above?
I do have neuro problems defo and all would agree but all the neuro has said to me that he didnt know what was wrong.
Another question "If he didnt why didnt he suggest I go for a second opinion?"
Why am I only able to walk with a rollator or a stick? Have jerks, dystonia, curling and clamping hands etc.
Are there such things as typical symptoms and untypical symptoms.
I am just at a loss.
Is it because I was in the psychiatric system for a very long time and no one is even bothering. Oh, this neuro is a shrink's son.
I just dont understand all this at all.
Am I a marked man for being in the psych system even if I have been declared perfectly normal by two shrinks and given an apology for ever being in the psych system.
I am grateful for having this space to air my perplexion on all the above.
If no one wants to bother to find out why I am so unwell, do I crawl into a hole and forget it.
