Anyone out there with high blood pressure and parkinson that plan to ask their doctor to let them try isradipine for high blood pressure?  I hear it's looking promising for Parkinson!!!!  yeah

I'm doing really well, thanks for asking. We are enjoying our Grandson, he brings such joy into our lives. Also, we will be leaving in 3 weeks for a cruise, we are really looking forward to that, looking forward to some R&R. Hope things are going well with you and everyone else on this board. God Bless

I ask to go on the calcium blocking high blood pressure meds. I had the side effects of my feet sweeling so bad I could not walk so had to be taken off of it. They say that is one of the side effects of that. If go on it watch for that.

Could  you tell me if there's a -place here for chat? I think this is just a message board, correct?

obviously I'm new at this but everytime I sign on there is never a  soul in any of the "chat rooms" _Parikinson's or any other.

AM I missing something?

There is chat here. Near the top of the page select 'Forum and Chat'. Then it seems you select the particular chat room such as Parkinson's. However, folks here tend to all congregate - regardless of disease/condition - in whatever gets started that evening.

 

There are other Parkinson's chats, if you are interested.
