Hi, my dad exhibits difficulty in breathing and swallowing of late after suffering 13 years of PD. Neuro-specialist has advised ENT surgery to cut a hole on his throat to assist his breathing. We all have concerns for his old age (at 76) and the risk involved. At sametime, we are not sure if this is too early to contemplate (not to mention there is no return point to retrofit) as Dad is not completely bedridden.
Does anyone has experience to share and whether it is advisable to go for that route?
Thanks ahead
