My mother is suffering from PD for more than 1 year. for the last few months the two medicines---pramipex0.125 and syndopa plus --have brought 50 percent relief.

What are the side effects of these medicines?

Will these medicines remain effective for the comming years?

Are these medicines anti depresents as well?

I don't have the answers but your neurologist should. If not you need to find a better one. Is your neurologist a movement disorder specialist? They specialize in PD. I first went to a neurologist that was not a movement disorder specialist. He had no answers. Just gave me Sinemet. Then went to a MDS neurologist. Off Sinemet onto Azilect. I'm doing great.
