My husband just went from 1mg 3 times a day to 1.5 3 times a day. His night terrors/dreams are worse and he throws his arms around. I've noticed a lil more forgetfulness, zero intimacy and sleep walking. Thoughts on this? Too much meds or just new symptoms?

1.5 mg of what???? I will bet it is sinemet (carbidopa/levadopa). I will also bet that the neurologist he sees is a general neurologist, not a movement disorder specialist (I assume he is seeing a neurologist). How old is he? How long since diagnosis? what symptoms?

Pramipexole. He is seeing a movement specialist Neuro at the Cleveland Clinic.

Oops, I hit submit too soon.. Lol
He was diagnosed June 2012. He is 49. Symptoms are tremor right side, little on left. Of course the shuffled walk, choking at night, frequent urination, constipation, night terrors.

My mom is on Mirapex. I decreased her from .75 3 times a day to half .75 morning and night and left the .75 alone for nighttime. I did this to hopefully offset the extreme drowsiness she's had for the past 10 years on this drug. She also takes Stalevo and needs both meds.

Maybe the total combined amount he's on now is too much for him. Talk to the doctor about decreasing it. Why was it increased? From experience I wouldn't have him start this drug in the first place. Very hard to get off once you do.
